This award ceremony was presided by Mr. Bharat Suresh Joshi, British Deputy High Commissioner, Chennai and Dr. T. S. Sridhar IAS, Additional Chief Secretary / Commissioner of Revenue Administration, Government of Tamil Nadu. The Train the Trainer session aims to develop the skills of English language Teachers in the Higher Education sector to an international bench mark and was launched in collaboration with Robert Gordon University and University of Bradford. It was launched by Mr. P.Palaniappan, Honorable Minister for Higher Education, Government of Tamil Nadu and Mr. Mike Nithavrianakis, British Deputy High Commissioner, Chennai. In Hyderabad it was launched by Mr. Andrew McAlister, British Deputy High Commissioner, Hyderabad and Mr. Ajay Mishra, Principal Secretary, Higher Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
